Project At a Glance
At Harvard's Center on the Developing Child, I collaborated with a team to refine an asynchronous e-learning module to empower service providers in fields like health care, education, and child welfare to use science to identify new opportunities to improve their services.

The module attracted over 5,000 active users within the first month of its launch.

Key Highlights
01. Enhanced Onboarding Experience to the Module
I transformed lengthy introductory paragraphs into concise segments, incorporating navigation tips and intriguing opening questions. Additionally, I included explanations for key terms used in this module to ensure that interactions with the learning system and materials are straightforward and clear.

02. Assessment Tool Redesign
Based on research and instructional design principles, I turned all Multiple Choice and True/False questions into open-ended and/or matching questions. This approach not only deepens memory retention but also ensures that learners do not associate the material with incorrect answers.

03. Incorporating DEI Considerations
I included and emphasized a positionality section when conducting interviews with families. This section helps interviewers acknowledge their own backgrounds and biases, ensuring that the interactions are respectful and culturally sensitive.

04. Increased Learner Engagement through Interactive Elements
I have transformed paragraphs of text into interactive elements like flashcards, hotspots, pop-up boxes, and interactive diagrams to more effectively engage learners.
